      We are looking for a

   Global Insights Lead (m/f)


  • Manage the Global Insights team of at least 2 people directly, including their development, and manage a close cooperation with local market research departments & resources
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our growth vision, driving Bahlsen’s group strategies towards sustainable and profitable growth
  • Help us – together with the other members of the Global Brand team and the respective international subsidiaries – develop an insight-driven marketing vision and global marketing strategy, by scanning, importing, researching, adapting, and leveraging insights derived from consumers, category, culture (trends) and competitors
  • Support the development of the marketing framework and the marketing philosophy, in close cooperation with the Global Brand Officer and direct reports 
  • Act as global thought leader (m/f) and “knowledge center of insights” for the company
  • Assist global and, where possible, local marketing teams in deriving and using insights in order to improve Bahlsen’s marketing activities
  • Assume the role of global lead (m/f) for market(ing) research and analytics, supporting the global brand teams in brand and innovation development through selecting the research methodologies and research agencies and through executing flawless market research

Skill Requirements

  • Degree in business management with an international focus and a specialization in marketing/market research
  • Several years of professional experience in a responsible market research role (or a related brand marketing function) in a branded goods company, preferably in an FMCG environment, or a research agency, with a proven track record in a management position
  • Creativity, curiosity and analytical thinking as well as a passion for shaping a vision within an international setting and an interest in the food industry
  • Intercultural competence along with the ability to motivate and develop people and strong social and communication skills (German and English) in dealing with various internal and external partners 
  • Confident demeanour and a collaborative, results- and service-oriented working style
